Teachers' Day

Teachers' Day, it's often celebrated on the 1st of every September in my land. However this year, the 1st of September happens to be the official school holiday enjoyed by students and teachers of my nation. Thus, the celebration of this special day in the year 2008 is held today, the 29th of August.

Here on this very corner of the Earth, there's this very angry little girl who isn't exactly doing what others are doing; going back to old school to visit her teachers. And why would she be angry in the first place? That's cause she had endured to much injustice and sufferings back in her old days at her old school which probably explains why she isn't going to visit.

That girl is me.

But, I ain't talking about no teachers being mean to me(although there is). I'm talking about the fcuked-up classmates.

Okay, nevermind this.

I just gotta say a great big "Thank You" to that form teacher of mine who taught me in my last year of secondary education. That teacher is Mr Chng, people call him "Chng". Why thank him you say? Cause he(and some other teachers) are the only ones who believed that I could succeed in my academic results. He had given me the utmost encouragement during my graduation year. Without him, I could still do well for my O Level. Well, maybe not that well.

To make things simple, he did play a role in shaping me into what I am today. And that role was definitely a positive one.

I could still vividly remember those days which you stepped into class and said "Last night, I only sleep four hours. Because I was busy marking your papers and I couldn't sleep. Then, when I woke up, I drank two bottles of chicken essence. Now, I am having a very bad headache, migraine. Almost every morning also like that."

Boy, indeed, you said those words to the whole class almost every morning. Yeah, I get your pain cause my ears are hurting from them as well.

And Sir, all you need to know is, I love you! =)

Sentosa Trip, June Holidays, 2007(I didn't do this, it was all Hong Kai's idea!).

Sick and Tired

You're angry? What rights do you have to? I should be the one to jump with frustration. I told you long before I wrote a word and you didn't even take the effort to note it down. All these words, all these while, all meant nothing to you.

Every night you made a promise and you broke it. I used to pursue, but not anymore. That's cause I'm trying to be more understanding and tolerant of your supposedly hectic schedule. But it seem that I've been far too tolerant of everything to the extent that I mean nothing to you. You've changed.

Reason for your change? Because, you're at the upperhand. Now, things seem to take a better turn for you? I'm the one dedicating so much more than you do, just to make things work out. So what the hell have you done for us?

I've given all I could as what I am to you. So much so that I'm left with nothing. Now you no longer do all the stuffs you used to and here I am, left my nothing but my bottle of teardrops.

I can be bothered no further. Too tired, too sick.

By the way, thanks Jun Kang for being around when I really needed someone. And that someone shouldn't have been him. Even he, cares for me much more than you do.

My Eyes Are Bleeding

Approach the chamber, and destroy your sight
With a new Gorgon: do not bid me speak;
See, and then speak yourselves.
Macbeth by Shakespeare.

No wonder they are paying me so much. That's cause after working a job like mine, you will see the ugliest and most disgusting side of the human heart and mind. Then soon enough, you're gonna see through this world and loose your faith in humanity.

Humans can go to such great lengths in order to lead another to their downfall. The mask of righteous is just mere tool to disguise and conceal their unlawful ways. People seek out for loop holes in the law which grants them the authority to sin.

Should have gone to the job Doreen recommended this morning. Although it doesn't pay as well but at least, I don't have to struggle against these nonsense. Shucks, if it weren't for the contract, I would have been gone!

It really sucked today. It does. Job started at 6am and I didn't get to grab a bite until 6pm. On top of that, while playing "hide and seek", I got kicked in the tummy and punched in the jaw. All the rough worthed SGD 200. It was much more than usual. But of course, I'm risking my life for this and that's how I should be paid.

Then again, if I were really given a chance to choose, I wouldn't want to get out of this line either. Firstly, it pays too well. The molar's hard to resist even though I've no idea as to why I'm working this hard for money. Secondly, I feel all-so alive during work time. It's challenging, and it's pumping up my adrenaline. Thirdly, the long hours at work sure makes me forget about other balderdash. I don't even have the time to eat, let alone the time to think and it's good for people who thinks too damn much, like me.

Yeah, please don't ever give me too much time to think lest I revoke my decision.

Tomorrow, oh, tomorrow is d'big day.

The Dawn and Recap

It's Monday again but the blues ain't back this morning. To be frank, I haven't been feeling this great in a dawn since years ago. The reason behind it? I slept at 3am last night.

Don't laugh.

It's been long since I could sleep at 3am, ya know? The rest of nights, my eyes are just all-wide until sunrise. In another word, I'm suffering from serious insomia.

Let's recap what's been cooking since last Friday. On Friday, I met up with me class and had a rehersal for the upcoming play. Then, with the Scripters, went to Holland Village's Party World to get some props and stage make-ups. Did some hushies-hushies(hushing it for now) at Jun Kang's house. Boy, that guy was an ass.

I was told by him that his house was just a stone's throw away from Holland V and all we need is just a little walk to get there. Yet, when we went there on Friday, I found out that that stone was actually thrown by a professional Olympian Shot Put Gold Medalist; it was friggin' far from Holland V. Darn far I tell ya.

Moral of the story: Jun Kang's defination of a distance's far and near varies greatly from ours.

After doing the hushies-hushies with the Scripters, went off with Anthony Leo Fernandes(cool name) to meet-up with the old mates. And before we did, we sat on the ground of a random location.

Ant: See, I've already prepared myself for such occasion.
Me: What occasion?
Ant: Go out with you, comfirm must sit on the floor.
Me: Got meh?
Ant: Then you tell me lah, when was the time that we went out and didn't sit on the floor?
Me: Ehmm...

Then, met up with Ching Fang, Cowen and Hong Kai at Orchard and proceeded to Cineleisure. Ate at that Japanese Restaurant and I never will fail to meet an acquaintance or two while at that place. First, Wencui. Second, Wei Jie. Third, Paul Twohill. o.O

After dining, we did the usual stuffs we did, like stoning, crapping and stoning. Then, we shifted the activities at the front door of Cineleisure, blocking a hell load of people who's rushing and on their way into the buidling. Thus, we again, relocated to the nearby Kopitiam and took up the seats without ordering any food.

Being with my old mates sure makes me forget about the world and assume that we're the only living being in this planet.

Why am I glazing into your glassy eyes all so recently?

Lonely~ I am so lonely~

Went out with the Dinner Gang to eat dinner this evening. Gosh, thanks to you people, I no longer feel alone during dinner time. But hey, thanks to John(Dinner Gang gang member), I feel so lonely all over again.

Screw you.

But I wouldn't be able to deny the analogy you were talking about tonight. Gonna elaborate on this(analogy) another day when I've completed analyzing it.

Anyways, Hong Kai wrote a poem on how desperate he is in getting a girl fun is it to write a poem:

I wan a gal
hu plays dota n basketball
but is not a noob
and not better den mi.

I wan a gal
hu is kind n gentle
but i oso like her
non-hyper.

I wan a gal
hu is not fat
but not too skiny
n not more den 165.

I wan a gal hu....
Ah FUCK it i wan a girl

Oh ho, poem writing. How fun. Could I've not join in the carnival? Thus, here's a poem I've wrote:

In search of a guy
Who is handsome and fine.
A built like Elps and
A face like Phelps.

In seach of a guy
Who is smart and sly.
Neither the match of Einstein
Nor Levenshtein.

In search of guy
Who is clean and nice.
Better be free of scabies,
herpes and syphilis.

Ah fuck,
Just gimme a guy
Who is fine, sly and nice!

Would you?

If only one could presage his doomsday, funerals can then be held prior to that moment.

If I were to drop dead today, who would be the ones weeping and grieving over my death?

If only, and would you?

21 August 2008

It's our secret.

Today's scripting session with the Scripters was held at VivoCity. Bg fcuk, my brain's flat and dead today. I couldn't believe that I can't think of anything funny to write about in this script.

What the hell is wrong with me?! Have I lost my sense of humour? I suppose I did recently. I just didn't feel funny these days. There's nothing worth being happy about, at least for now. I just couldn't think of any laughable plots. I'm still bothered. Bothered by certain issue.

Script's done. Well, almost if I had wrote something in "higher quality". I'm sorry, really. I don't know what's going on. Just couldn't do it and didn't produce a better script. Man, it was a bad script I did to start with. I'm sorry.

Felt better the moment Jun Kang took us to the toy shop at Harbourfront Centre. That shop was full of toys that people born in the 80s or 90s played. Nothing fanciful, just some simple creations.

Jun Kang playing with the snake.

Cui Fen playing with the snake too.

Moved on to Vivo's Toys'R'Us. Messed around with their items too. Had a freaking big laugh while messing with their voice changer. Damn, "一百年前(one hundred years ago)" was hilarious(insiders' joke)!

Chicky Elmo.

Then, took dinner at the rooftop. Reminds me of the old times... Darn, I should stop living in the past and start embracing my future.

Anyways, after meal, played a "bonding game" with the Scripters. I'm glad that we're all so darn trusting of each other to reveal our deepest dirty little secret. *Wink* And boy, you've hit the nail hard on my head and it hurts. Yeah, the brutual truth, I'm bleeding.

Thanks dudes, you all have just engraved another unforgettable moment in my life.

Junior is still with me. He misses you as much as I did.

The Scripters

In my class, we're all clique-y people. Thus, there's many(or at least I think that there is) cliques within us. There's the Doreen Gang, the Chloe Gang, the Zoe Gang and the Three Musketeers Gang. However, there's just one gang that rises above all(hell, yeah), that's the Script Writers Gang aka THE Scripters(Cui Fen, Eugene, Jun Kang, Mahorela).

And I've been hanging out with them today. It was at Eugene's house, working on those damn scripts. Boy, it was a close shave having Kang in a house full of fragile objects. He was really close to knocking down a few of Eugene's house's decorative items. Don't believe? Just look at this map:

Though it wasn't my house, I broke out in cold sweat while observing his movements. People, do think twice before you invite him over to your residence. He didn't have a care in the world at all and I mean it.

Random picture taken randomly at his house.

Tasted Eugene's recommended Roti Prata and it was great. Then went home. Then had a decent discussion about romance on board the bus with Cui Fen and Kang.

Apologies for being monotonous in this entry, that's cause somebody rang my clapper today; Guys are indeed, bothered by having raped women as their girlfriends.

Hark, I need peace.

Knock This Down And Off You Go

Today, I took the last test in this semester. All's unwell, but heck. It's all done and through with no redos. Just gonna wait for the reviews.

Then, went to Holland Village with Anna, Chloe, Eugene, Jun Kang and Yuan Shan. Boy, it does bring back the flashbacks, making me recall the good o'days with lots of laughters and fun. The trail I went with my new mates today, went on exactly as it did 2 years ago between us, the old boys and girls. First, pet shops then, Subway and last, Holland Village Shopping Centre.

The renowned Windmill of the Holland V.

Though I do not reveal, but I'm the most concerned about how are you doing today.

Anyways, down came this test and up comes the script. Just gonna pull through and get done with it.

It makes me wonder again, about this so-called "pride of the male species".

If they dare do it,
They'd dare buy it.
But why do they fear
The very thing they desire?

But hey and again,
It was this fear that caused me to fleer,
Nearer to the cash that I've always dreamt near.

So boys do go on,
Do veer all your spears.

Gosh, I think I've been reading too much 金瓶梅(The Golden Lotus) to the extent that I'm starting to write dirty...

Free Tickets?

Aiyo, somebody is inviting me to Singfest 2008 sia... And he's even providing me free tickets! Get this clear, it's tickets not ticket. Plural, not singular! How could I resist?

Yes, I could, with fully justified reason(s) to. He had confessed to me just last week with my respond being negative. Don't be such an ass and ask me what did he confessed about.

I'm afraid that accepting his offer(tickets to Singfest) might give him that glimpse of false hope which is guaranteed to lead him to further disappointment. I'm more afraid that after such awkward rejection, meeting each other would bring us a greater deal of awkwardness. And Mahorela doesn't like awkwardness. You know, it's awkward to feel awkward. Dangit, I'm so awkward upon mentioning such awkward situation that I'm starting to awkwardly type an awkward entry. Gosh, that was awkward.

Why is it always the case that people you admire and adore doesn't seem to feel the same for you? And yet, those that you don't take delight in nor desire, clings to you like a Kolar Bear?

Do I look like mummy bear or the tree branch? No offence to Koala Bears.

I just wanna be with those that I love for the rest of my life, it that too much?

Hell damn it; to go or not to go, that's the question.

10 August 2008

Fantasizing @_@

Boy, oh boy. Mini test and all assignments are in, just left with a paper weighing 40% of a damn module. Gosh, gotta mug. But certainly not today, tomorrow girl, tomorrow. Never do anything which you can leave till tomorrow.

Before I forget, gotta take this chance to thank Yuan Shan for being so concerned about my mini test on Monday. She's great, thanks!

Anyways, went to submit the last of what I have to submit this darn semester yesterday. Was told by Jun Kang that a suspicious character dropped by just a while before I reached the office. Heck, missed a show. Eventually went off with Anna and had a serious discussion(*cough*) with her on 御宅-ing(otaku-ing).

Then went on to work and mission went on smoothly today, ain't dead yet. Grabbed some bucks, though not a load of it, but still, some cash. =D

These few days, I've been doing alot of work, so much so that I couldn't really recall what's going on the past few days. And please do not misunderstand. When I say work, I don't mean my job or school work. I was talking about Youtube-ing, Crunchy Roll-ing and Tudou-ing.

I've watched almost every single video that my idol, Matsuda Ryuhei(松田龙平) was in.

Matsuda Ryuhei

He's hot!

Besides that, I've re-watched the whole damn series(47 episodes) of Young Warriors of the Yang Clan(少年杨家将) for the second time in life. The story's sad, a tragedy. Sympathy for Yang Qi Lang(杨延嗣) to have died a brutual death. Oh ho, I'm not talkin about the lose of a warrior, I'm talking about eliminating my other idol, Eddie Peng(彭于晏) from the plot ever since the 43rd episode.

Eddie Peng

He's hot too! ^^

Gonna blog about them the next time after I've finished Ryuhei's あしたの、喜多善男(Ashita no Kita Yoshio) and Eddie's 我在墾丁·天氣晴(Wayward Kenting)!

Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore!

Once again, it's that time of the year when people hang flags on their flats. Some will queue for days and nights just to get some tickets to get into some stadium for some performances. Others will be

Domination of August

Besides having majority of my friends born in February and March, the next most eccentric group of people I've met were born in August. I don't mean they are weird, it's just too much of a coincidence.

Mandy's on the 3rd, Eddie's on the 4th, Andrea's on the 5th, Yi Yuan's on the 6th, Hong Yao's on the 7th, Sandra's on the 8th, Singpore's on the 9th! Darn, I ain't fcuking finished on the list. It extends all the way down to the 14th. What the heck was on the minds of the parents of these Leos thinking when they've decided to reproduce? Was that particular month nine months prior to these people's birth an auspicious month for mating?

Hell, I bet so.

And guess what? I bought no gifts for any damn Leos this year. Can't blame me, ya? I mean, food's up, petrol's up, tax's up, every damn thing that could be up, has already risen. But hey, it's all that thought that counts eh? Heehee.

Anyways, a great big 14th/16th/17th/19th/20th/23rd(please pick the number which applies to you and no cheating) Happy Birthday to all my Leos out there.

This cake's for the guys.

These are for the girls.

Prom Night Review and stuffs

Last Friday, went to school with Yuan Shan, kenna fly aeroplane by cher ie, my dearest Ms. Retro stood us up on a consultation. But it wasn't her fault, it was some damned dude's fault.

Anyways, panicked and called up Hongkie. Didn't know where that sort of illogical response came from, but yeah, I just called him up when I was suffering from a shock attack from being stood up on a consultation. And luckily, he was just around the corner of my vicinity, hanging around, smoking pots or so.

Reached the office, chatted with Yuan Shan and Jun Kang, Hongkie came with his newly rebonded hair. Idled around, left at 5pm. Headed to Tiong, with Hongkie and the intention to catch Dark Night but damn, he caught it before I did.

Then, settled on the decision to watch the 2008 remake of the original film 28 years ago and yet, has got no resembalance or whatsoever to its 1980 version except for the title, "Prom Night".

For anyone who hasn't watched it, here's something for you all: DON'T fcukingly watch this crap film. I had to say that it was one hell of a bad movie, and I mean it. It sucks, big time!

The only time that this whole darn movie really freaked me out was when I spotted a black figure dashing out of nowhere through the corner of my eyes. And it wasn't even tho movie itself that scared me! However, that unidentified "black figure" was proved to be mere cinema crew walking past the hallway.

Still, you can't blame me for being such a scaredy cat considering the fact that I had just had a spooky encounter two days ago and it was also the first day of the Hungry Ghost Festival! Comfirm paranoid!

Anyways, after some dilly-dallys, we eventually went over to a hawker centre near Hongkie's house and had our dinner.

Along came Cowen with his new hair growth.

Then, we were joined by yet another of Hongkie's friend, Ben. This guy's a head-turner.

Eventually, left for Tiong Bahru Park. En route towards the destination, there came this conversation between me and Hongkie after I've spotted a lizard climbing across the overhead bridge's ceiling:

Me: Ahhh! Lizard!
Hong: It won't come over.
Me: It sure does. When I was young, there was a lizard that fell right on me from the ceiling.
Hong: That's impossible, it won't happen.

Oh boy, do mark his last sentence. While we were slacking under a pavilion at the park, a lizard did fell from the roof and on the guy who didn't believed that it should happen. Yes, it landed on Hongkie's back and he had a display of extreme "dramatism" within that few seconds before it hopped off.

Man, it was hilarious. At least something good like this happened that day among all the other unhappy events. =D

Contact Lens Spree

No, this isn't a post for people to join any sorta "sprees". Instead, it's a review of a contact lens spree that I've participated in a week or so ago...

To be frank, this is the first time I've ever participated in a spree. I know it's a little too old of me to start spreeing at this age.. But hey, come on, better once than never done (oh, it rhymes~)!

The seller's a Pinky dudette. And what she's offering are Geo Contact Lenses (yearly disposable) from Korea. She charges a nett price of SGD21 for each pair with varying degrees. I wouldn't say that it's very cheap, but it sure ain't expensive and much more reasonable as compared to other sellers who are offering the exact pair for a ridiculous SGD40-50++! Pinky's also swift in getting the items sent to the buyers.

For my case, spree closed on the 16th of July, 2008, and I received my items nicely packed and mailed to me on the 31sth of July, 2008. A fair amount of waiting time spent, not much delay.

Hello Kitty packaging, how sweet(purple rectangle is meant for covering up my name written on the package).

In case you're wondering, I bought a pair of Angel Brown:

... and a pair of Geo Tears Lens Grey:

When I unwrapped the package, there came another surprise:

Darn, I didn't know that cases came along with lenses. Cool!

My bottomline message: I haven't tried on the lenses yet, so I can't comment on them any further. But by any chance that you're interest in Geo Lenses, do buy from Pinky. Seller is efficient in replying queries regarding the spree and sets a reasonable price on the lenses. If both of your eyes have differing degrees, you may get your pair of contact lenses in their respective(differing) degrees. Seller(Pinky) also provides her personal contact number and thus, reaching her would be an ease. All the more, each pair of Geo comes with a contact lens case. And I will, definitely be ordering from her the next round when mine is done... which should be in two years's time...

Gonna be working on more spree reviews as I'm currently hooked on online spreeing/shopping! Most importantly, this ISN'T paid advertising and in no way, am I related to Pinky.

Deadlines are piling up...

Gosh, I've a hell load of pictures and stuffs to blog about. There's my recent addiction to online shopping, meet-up with the old boys, lag time movie reviews and all other else stuffs for me to update.

What I don't have, is the time to!

So, dudettes and dudes, please be patient with my turtled-speed updates due to my hectic schedule. Deadlines are literally, piling up on me, paralyzing my blogging movement and it surely don't feel good.

At the mean time, go listen to some Michael Bublé(this is my favourite) or surf some websites for really bored people.
