Red Alert

It has been there since Thursay, at least from what I remember.

I really wonder why no one had bothered to throw it away. I wonder more what are we even paying the Banglahs "Bang boys who love to dash across the road and hold each others' hands" for.

Hand and Heart Ache

I woked up this morning at 8.30am when I slept past 3am earlier on. Miracle, Hell, no. I woke up out of pain and sufferings.

Look at my hand. Observe my hand. Analyze my hand.

What do you see, what do you see? I bet you can't tell that anything's wrong with it. Nevermind, let me tell ya. This morning I woke up, my hand ached like hell. It felt as though there were 16 Mrs Norbit's sitting on it.

It felt really really bad. I couldn't lift them up, move an inch nor even clench my fist. And the pain extended up to my arms.

Argh! Worse of all, I had to visit the doctor and pay a damn fee of $35 which includes an injection up my bum. $35 and $40(my pay for today) grew wings and took off.

T_T

And tomorrow is the day. The day when we either will live through or re-live.

Hmmm...

Me: Eh, what do you think of my results?
Me II: Hm.
Me: Huh?
Me II: Hmm.
Me: HUH?!
Me II: ...
Me: Oi! Good or bad?!
Me II: ...

Darn, I can't help being not nervous and I'm getting nervous because I don't feel nervous at all!!!

7th Job in the Holidays

Today, I'm supposed to go to a job briefing at Clementi Bus Interchange early in the morning, 8.30am. And it seems like a darn good job. $630 just for 14days, 7 working hours per day, promoting F&N drinks.

I think that's the one I'm supposed to be promoting.

But, I missed it.

Overslept...

Well, it seems like I'm destined to take up the job offered by some woman by the name of Lizhen. Woot. It has been ages since I have heard of such dumb conventional name, hoho.

The pay's like, average? $5 per hour. What made me keen about the job was the fact that my lunch is paid, not deducted from the hours, although they are not even buying me lunch. But hey, at least I will be able to get back $5 of food fare!

I reported to Lizhen's shop at ehm... about 2.30pm, so it's like $ 35 for today($5 gone). And after 7 hours of working there, I would say, "This job ROCKS!".

I mean it, literally.
I could perfect my stoning technique here(when it has already hit level 99 after receiving the training from Robinsons)!

New job, new aptitude.

A very sudden PayDay

Woot! I didn't know it's payday today!

But who cares, so as long as I've got the molar! Still, it kinda surprised me eh. I mean, my bank account used own a 5 digit amount. Then, there was a time when I have got only a dollar in my account, literally.

About a month ago, I somehow managed to slave back to a 4 digit sum. However, I am also bestowed with the ability to bring down the amount back to mere 2 digit within 10 days(that 10 days at Robinsons only gave me 1/6 of what I had earned).

Good job, gal!

But now, I've brought back the 4 digit that was in my account(althought not as much as the previous 4 digit, but still a 4 digit nonetheless)! So, I swear that I'm really gonna spend it wisely, just like what I always do...

By the way, I don't know why are they always laughing at my Bank Account Booklet...

Is it that funny?

长痛不如短痛

A man was browsing through Ebay when he saw this very beautiful watch on sale. The item had been bidded till the extent that it seems kinda overpriced to purchase.

But this man really liked the watch. He sent an email over to the seller to express his deep interest in owning the item. Although the seller had repeatedly refused to let his item go at such a unprofitable cost, she was eventually touched by the buyer's sincerity and sold him the watch at the original price.

Upon receiving and inspecting the stock which came by post, the buyer's shocked that the watch seemed very different from what he had initially thought that it would look like based on the display picture on the Ebay website. He then proceeded to lodge a complaint against the seller for his discovery.

I don't even know if he's demanding a full refund or what.

I'm a human. I think, I sense, I feel.

Even though you may argue that you're insensitive, but this is too much. It sounds like a prelude to a break-up line. So I asked and you said no. So I asked again and you replied that it may eventually happen.

Vulnerable.

Isn't it fucking great to have one to be on standby for you 24/7? Everything is in your control because you know that I will never let go no matter what. You're happpy, you come for me. If you're not, then you don't. If you're busy, you do your stuffs. If you're not, you come for me. Great eh?

Used.

There's no excuse for your behavior for it's just a call. My anger, for now, is like a snowball. If you don't stop it the moment it started rolling, you probably won't get a chance when it picks up more snow on the way downhill.

Unstoppable.

In the long run, the hurdle; our lifestyle. I blame no one, just myself for even starting anything in the first place. Because I knew it'd be sooner or later. Differences of priorities. I hate to admit, but I'm hurt. Fucking hurt. Lack of security, cause you've never given me assurance. Yeah, you're honest. So I thank you for that?

Feeble.

I'm always at a disadvantage. I swear if I were to ever get out of this alive, I'm gonna be a player, vengeance for the forsaken. I don't ever wanna believe in love again.

And it's happening again, you're selfish. It's all about you, never there ever was a me in the picture. I get what you mean, you are starting to regret. If you don't love me, just tell me straight in my face. If you want a break-up, beat around the bush not.

Your sorry don't worth a thought because you'll never know how much damage has been dealt.

Unforgivable.

Lava Lamp

I've ordered this from Ebay. In case you are too lazy to click:

To be precise, it's this:

Don't ask me how much does it cost, I don't know. I'm all confused, just as he is.

It's all in foreign currency. The starting bid's AU $47.95 . Then, Ebay is so damn helpful that they converted the AU $47.95 into approximately US $42.56.

A piece of useful information.

On top of that, I had to bid for this darn item. Then, it's AU $53.25 after bidding, approximately US $46.78.

But that ain't inclusive of the shipping charges. They stated that it's "To United States -- AU $73.50 ", so I wonder how much would it be if it's to Singapore. But I was desperate for the lamp and could care less.

To make everything ever confusing, they threw in a 10% off as they stated that it was for their "friends from the Asia continent". It's like telling me, the Martian, that I'm eligible for free parking of my UFO in Area 51. But who cares about what the hell are they talking about, it's a discount, right? Just accept it and display the SingaporeSpirit®.

Shipping takes 3 days, I hope it comes just in time for our next meeting!

Open House Day Part II

Where were we? Hm. Yeah, and so, we went to Temasek Poly shortly after hanging out and being bored to tears at SP.

Boy, those dudes at TP sure was high!

The moment we stepped into TP, there was these buncha people stationed at the two sides of the entrance, shouting "Welcome to Temasek Poly!" whenever there are visitors stepping in and "Thank you, see you again!" whenever there are visitors leaving the compound.

What the heck, feels soooo Déjà vu...

Everyone is high on a Saturday Morning.

We proceeded to somewhere near the entrance and "took home a cool black bag".

How cool can it get?

But what I'm impressed was that they were sensitive enough to not print a gigantic "Temasek Poly" or "Join us at Temasek Poly" or even a "Temasek Poly Rocks!" on the bag to embarrass its users. Instead, they replaced all the dumb taglines with a business card-sized "the turning point":

The dudes at TP sure have got some brains.

There was also this bulky thingy which came along as one of their freebies:

Hoho, they are sure not gonna be very happy with it.

Soon, we joined in a guided tour around TP. Our first stop, the TP's School of Business. Gabriel(our guide) led us into the auditorium to watch some performance going on. Initially, I thought it was yet another performance with nervous speakers, but I was wrong.

It turned out to be that they have a shameless speaker instead.

S/he was not only shameless, but darn confused too. S/he kept saying that "I'm all confused, look at me!"

This guy/girl really has got the nerves man. I could even picture him/her as the next Gurmit Singh, Hossan Leong or Najip Ali. S/he could speak very fluently, as in, the type of people that could stand up on a stage and really display the characters that they are acting as. Pro sia!And s/he was really mean to say "Hey, what's that ugly thing on your neck? *silent pause* It's your face!". ROFL!

Video Clip 1

Video Clip 2

Video 3

There was this point of the show when s/he and his/her girls where trying to hook up with some ang moh kia:

Ofcourse, s/he didn't get their number. If it really worked out, I might as well go to hell...

So, after all the drama, we kinda went touring around the School of Business, look see look see. Nothing much. We kinda left our tour group eventually, cause it's darn too boring and went to explore TP at our own risk. When we went to visit their School of IT and Science, there was again, a buncha people gathered at the two sides of the entrance shouting random welcome cheers. Luckily, there was a alternate route to get pass them. Phew.

So that kinda ended our Open House trip eh! Ofcourse, there was something else going on thereafter... Hehehex...
