The Man on the Fence

I roaming across the streets of Singapore(I've always wanted to say something like that!) and I came alongside a bus stop which was just next to Commonwealth MRT Station.

This poster was what I came across as it was being pasted all over a nearby fence:

A4-sized poster.

Initially, I thought it was some sort of, ehm, poster for some missing dude. But then, upon closer inspection, this is what it reads:

"ATTENTION! ATTENTION! GIRLS AND LADIES!!! ESPECIALLY MALAY MUSLIM SINGLE LOADED DIVORCED WOMAN!!!IF YOU LOVE TO....."

Ehm, sorry. I know I deserve to be hit in the head, but I simply can't afford to get a camera with a better resolution! The 1.2 megapixel digital camera that came along with my phone was the next best(or at least, closest) thing I could get my hands on!

But to make things simple, the summary of the above was:

This guy(the one in the picture) who the author alleges of to be a cheater who preys on rich women that he had previously hooked up from the internet. He cheats his female victims of their money, love and sex. Thus, the author's alerting every women out there to beware of this guy lest they be cheated too. The author also claims that the cheater is skilled in black magic which he uses to charm his victims. He is also known by the author to have "...many name on chatline..." such as "...Ronnie, Saiful, Rifsky..." Last of all, the author suggests that the cheater and his wrong doings shall soon be made known to the world.

Man on the green fence.

As I was reading the above, there came two strange men standing opposite my direction reading the similar article:

Men trying to get rid of the evidence.

They were strange in a sense that I they were attempting to peel off and destroy one of the poster pasted on the fence. The moment they realized that there was something strang about this young lady across their direction(that is me) trying to do some funny things to them(taking their pictures), they immediately paused their activities and pretended to be reading the poster instead.

Damn old dude blocking my view.

Getting closer.

I tried going to the other side of the fence for their front shot, but they slipped outta my lens(camera lens) when their bus arrived. I suspect that one of them was that guy on the green fence... Hmmm...

For such situation, I wouldn't know what to say. I mean, I don't know. Let's wait and see if this Rifsky or whatever-sky guy is gonna hit the headline. If he's done it, I hope Karma will soon knock on his door for I believe in the belief of retribution. What goes around, comes around. Or simply, you reap what you sow.

Sometimes, I do not understand the workings behind a man's mind. What exactly was he looking out for when he decided to made a fool out of a woman's love and body. Is it that fun?

Sexuality issues, I assume. It's worse in this Asian society. Women could hardly be on par with men.

Or is it that cheating a woman's feelings marks the conquest of obtaining her body. Perhaps, it could even be that men do not run the risk of getting pregnant after countless rounds of sexual intercourse.

However, in my Asian society, the most possible reason lies in the issue of chasity. In most part of Asia, virgin women = good. Non-virgin women = bad. But for the men, it doesn't matter. Thus, nobody would point their finger at a man and say that he's promiscuous just because he has got a colourful sex life. However, it isn't the same if a woman does the same. She's be considered a slut. Thus, men doens't have to be responsible with their sex life. They'd sleep with anyone who they're pleased to as promoted by these Asian values.

Neat.

If I'd get to choose what to be in my next life, I'd be a guy.

Why do I not blog much about my life?

A question has been posted to me as to why my blog is filled with post which addresses my random interest, random mocking-at-people-post or etc. Yeah, why, you asked?

That's simply because of a belief that I hold unto:

Blogging about school life, work life, or basically about stuffs happening and people in your life is instant suicidal cast upon yourself.

Well, it least it applies to me.

I'm no Xia Xue who doesn't mind people's opinion about how she thinks. I'm just not brave enough to fully expose my mind to all of you out there. As I believe there are still limitations to what one can or should say in the world of blogging.

In another words:

Certain thoughts are best kept to yourself instead of mindlessly unleashing them upon others as the impact of your words may have the potential of scarring another's life or emotional state, indefinitely.

Yes, one may say another could have not read your blog since she or he doesn't like what you're blogging about. And I would say, stop being naive. It's near impossible that in this age, news about yourself being uploaded onto the internet doesn't travel to your ears when there are thousands and millions of other people reading about them.

However, at the end of the day, I wouldn't dare say that I'm one who doesn't hurt with my words because rules are meant to be broken. And, the temptation of sharing with the world about those beings or matters that irks the hell outta you is simply too alluring to be ignored. There are just too many things that you hate and wish the world to hate with you to blog about.

Still, we are to frequently observe the actions we chose to take, the entries we choose to post and be prepared to face the music when it is being played.

Be a blogger, be a responsible one.

Some Band Competition

A while ago, I was busy, really busy with:

And, yeah, let's just say we were gonna make it big soon, real soon.

Until Guy A and Guy B had a rather big tiff-off over some triangle love equation. Then one of them threatened to leave the band. It made things bad, real bad. We spent quite some time pacifying things between them.

At the same time, I felt that going solo wasn't that bad afterall. I mean, when you're in a band, it is teamwork that counts. None of us could afford any "disappearing act" of any single team members when a competition draws near. Worst off, it wasn't just any typical disappearing act, it was those which came attached with personal feud.

The problem is, however, solved.

But there comes another new news:

What the fcuk? Nobody told us that when we submitted our application! Eventually, we were forced to withdraw from the competition.

This left me a very unhappy dude, very.

They wasn't even doing the job that they should have done which is to scrutinize every single sheet of application form before they even pass the O.K sign.

What the fcuk?

Those of you who know me would have been able to easily identify who's the root of this problem within our band. Let's just say that the root of the problem isn't feeling very good now. The root of the problem is very reprehensive, culpable, guilty.

I need some rest...

That is what I stand for

Somebody was suggesting that I was over-reacting over certain issue happening on a particular day... It may seem so to you, but definitely not to me.

I think the mistake which I can identify I've made so far, was that I shoudn't have blogged too much on my personal thoughts out of a moment of anger. I could have pondered on my views before I even started blabbering them out on the internet. I should have accepted the fact that to be human is to err. And there is, unfortunately, no perfection in humanity. I must, must and must learn to be more forgiving.

It's always easier said than done.

When you had led a life like mine, you'll understand how disturbing it is to witness this vicious cycle of injustice going on. Thus, to others, I seem to blow up at times unexpectedly and unreasonably. I can't blame them for their perspective of me, they ain't me, they know no good of me. It's universally understandable and unchageable fact.

However, humans should all learn to behave and act upon what they believe in. If you think something is not right or very wrong, you don't play Simon Says and follow the masses. You should stand up and fight for you beliefs, what you hold dear to. Why would you allow someone to act on what you're against? Shouldn't you be defending what your faith lies in?

Still, I could blame humans no more. Not every being is brave enough to stand up against the majority and voice out their own opposing opinions.

So, I want you all to know; I'm one who dare advocate to others what I believe in. Even if it ultimately fails to convince my audience or trammels up dire consequences which I've to face. For the least I can do in my life is to follow what I think and know is the way to go and should go.

Have you been following your heart today?

p.s Kenneth, I'm so not going to any damn clubbing event with you ever again.

p.s.s Andy, let's hit the pub this weekend. No alcohol, orange juice please.

Things have their ways...

Just an hour or so ago, two person who shouldn't be sorry, confessed that they were sorry. I'm sorry to hear that they are sorry.

Good grief. Though the anger hasn't been fully appeased, yet the involvement in such heart-warming frankness is enough is bring me joy. I'm glad that candid people are still alive these days. I thought they were all dead.

It's a great gift from [insert your respective God's name(if you are atheist or free thinker, replace it with "myself")] that anybody could be candid to you. Our world had been infested with too much hypocrisy that genuine confessions could be harder to get than white truffles.

White truffles. A delicay which one could spend almost a lifetime searching for. Extremely rare.

Oh wait, what the heck. Another dude coming for apology. Ho. I'm at peace. Okay, I ain't gonna blog anymore. Don't wanna risk the exposure of my private life to blogging. All I can say is: I'm glad almost everybody's at peace, frank and forgiving.

Moral of the story: Honesty is the best policy(cheesy, but true).

Help, I Need Somebody!

Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.
When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.

But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.

The Great Slapping Incident

Well, a fcuking week is almost over and here I sat in front of my TV set, watching the news at 10pm on Channel 8. Something caught my attention, it was the final episode of not-so-headline-scandal-which-involes-rich-people news.

It all started like this: http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/Courts%2Band%2BCrime/STIStory_216382.html

Recently, it ended like this: http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/Courts%2Band%2BCrime/STIStory_230584.html

Me being as considerate and caring as can be... the summary of the news:
  1. Wong Ngit Liong's wife Tan Siew Hoon(remember her name, it's the next hottest idol in town) allegedly slapped a SIA stewardess for undisclosed reason.
  2. Kenna sued by stewardess.
  3. Somehow settled the suit with stewardess who "sought unspecified damages for 'emotional and mental distress' as a result of the 'wrongful assault and battery' as well as for defamation".
  4. Then I'm very confused as to what happens next, and before, but some what later...
  5. EVENTUALLY, cleared of ALL charges were cleared and she was awarded a warning.

Pretty woman, walking down the street~

More glamour shots.

Spotted walking out of court with all sweets and smileys when her charges were cleared.

Wow. Here, we have, a pretty pretty sassy woman pockets full of cash, Not only her own pocket, but the whole O'Goldmine her hubby's Venture Corp. Woot, that's a hell load of bucks there.

Here I am, being an adolescence, sitting on my $34 computer chair, exposing my naked eyes, mind, heart and soul to the beautiful world out there. Thus, absorbing the world's reflection into my being as one.

I've finally affirmed the truth in human life, money is everything. Well, being rich allows one to be able to go around slapping whoever the hell that she is unhappy with? Then, she throws money in the victim's face, either with or without their request or consent as a form of compensation for the traumatic incident that the victime had met with, which is directly caused by the rich woman? And, ofcourse, rich woman can go away with whatever they have done, unrepentant?

Eventually, rich woman would hope and pray that the law wouldn't bring her to justice? Afterall, she had done no wrong? She is just exercising her rights as a rich woman or the wife of a rich tycoon?

No wonder there is a Chinese saying that goes "船到桥头,自然直(when boat reach pier, auto-park)" . Still, I beg to differ, I think the saying should be "船到桥头,才能自然直(only a boat made of gold reach pier can auto-park)". Ain't it?

Gosh, it's a wonderful world out there after all! Kudos to the judiciary system too!

Moral of the story:
Thou shalt not slap when thyself is poor, only the rich is allowed to slap the others?
