As bad as the review goes around about this Mediacorp drama series, I actually kind of enjoyed watched "Together". Everybody's complaining about the lack of plot and that the story only focuses on the love triangle of the female protagonist. But that's exactly what I like about the show, a good old love story.

Just like when everybody ask me which was my favourite Final Fantasy in the franchise. It's definitely Final Fantasy VIII.



What beats a romantic storyline with cool characters in it?



Maybe a more romantic and tragic storyline with cooler characters, grahics, BGMs, and game control. And I like Final Fantasy X too, cause... of the obvious mentioned reasons. But anything with a good love story never fails to buy me over, no matter how epic fail other factors were.

I'm such a sucker for romance.

So much that it's affecting my judgement.

Angels

A few days ago, there was this woman who walked up to me at a bus station and told me "I see your Guardian Angel is right behind you".

She's either a Christian woman with magical abilities or a crazy bitch. She sounds like the former but makes me think that she is the latter.

Guardian Angel? Hm, I don't know about that.

The only Angels I believe in are these:



The Victoria's Secret Angels.





















Always been there for me during every Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since 1999.

Twilight Saga: New Moon

Asides: You have my name, now you have him. Take him away from me, take him. One day, someone's gonna repeat that on you. To God I swear that my conscience is clear, at least till today.

Channel 8 Vivo Countdown Party 2010

This year, I went to the same countdown party I did a year before.



I think Mediacorp read my entry for the previous year's countdown cause sadly enough, Ch** By 2 didn't turn up for this year's event.



But lucky for us, it didn't make much difference. At the beginning, the audience were all forced encouraged to stand up and join in and learn the "Sorry Sorry" dance. And they got two cute guys to teach us.



Ofourse, my friend and I guai lan, never join in. But , there was this super enthusiastic uncle that got a little too excited till the PRC infront also cannot tahan.



This made us feel so embarassed, not only embarassed for him but for our own unenthusiasm.

Then comes the real show.


Hot girls dancing.


My favourite Singapore band, Lucify performing. Oh wait, is he wearing a skirt and leggings?!


WTF?!

They even manage to invite the Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to perform here!




It makes my hair stand to watch them dance. So freaking creepy. A relief that it was over fast. The beginning of the real excitment came in when I thought I was watching 黄金年华(Golden Age).



Wosh. Their dance move totally blew me away. So "in", so stylo, so fashion! But seriously, I think this was the performance that garnered the most cheers and applause from the audience. No joke.






Retro is the new black.

And I really think the people at Mediacorp read last year's entry cause this year, I couldn't find anything to poke fun of at all. Like you see Jeanette Au, her dance moves were great.




Elegant dance move, super elegant. But I think she needs a better batch of backup dancers.









Yeah, my Grandma could take the role and she's hotter than Jeanette Au.

The next performance... Oh wait, I think I haven't finish my homework yet. Blog to you another day then!

2009, a year which a series of unfortunate events occured.

First, it was those rare TV shows that I really cared for got cancelled.


Pushing Daisies, Season 2, cancelled!


MADtv Season 14, cancelled

Then, of 10 movies I watched, 6 was bad... or gay.

























Guys playing with balls? Oh, please.

King of Pop died.


Britanny Murphy died at a tender age of 32.


Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan died damn abruptly.





















Guy who made me buy my "Oxiclean" even when I clearly know I don't need it, died too.















It's not just about celebrity deaths but, 2009 was also a really bad year for me. Personally, 2009 sucks. If you asked me what's good about 09, I really can't think of anything to list. Perhaps it's the 3Rs: Revealation, Reconciliation and Renunciation. But still, they're bad in a way.

Fcuk you, 2009. Really, fcuk you.

My New Year Resolutions for 2010? I don't know, probably to go home before 3am every Friday and Saturday? Eat only 3 meals a day with more consumption of vegetables? Don't be too emotional in certain issues which deserves none of it? Move on and not to dwell on the past? Or not to shut myself from the world when I'm workin on a project?

Oh, I know. What I probably need is less screw-ups. Dear God, if you're reading this, please do take note that I've only got a very simple resolution for 2010: Less drama in my life, please.
